After the filming of the Harry Potter movie, young 17 year old British actress Emma Watson plans to stop her acting carrier for a little. In other words, Emma wants to return to school.

Emma first played Hermione Granger at the age of 10. Along with ‘Harry Potter’, Emma is acting in a movie called “Ballet Shoes” and also in this one she plays a schoolgirl.

Seventeen-year-old Em is currently swotting for A-levels in Geography, English Literature and Art, between filming commitments.

And when it comes to success, her sights her set high on both the acting and academic fronts.

“Well, I guess I have motivation because I really want to go to uni, so I make sure I get all my work done because I know it’s going somewhere,” she said.

Lindsay Denies Dropkicking Mom-ager Dina

“I have good people in my life now. I am surrounded with people that don’t use me and who love me for me.” So stated Lindsay Lohan to In Touch upon her release from rehab last week. But has the self-control-lacking, new boyfriend-nabbing starlet decided that her mom-cum-manager Dina is no longer one of those “good people”?

On Wednesday, OK! magazine claimed Lohan, 21, had handed her lots-of-leeway-giving mother her walking papers.

“Lindsay fired Dina as her manager,” a source alleged to the mag, adding, “The two haven’t even spoken in weeks except to fight.”

The reason for the purported pink-slipping: Lindsay was “livid” that Dina granted “Access Hollywood” a tour of a luxurious high-rise condo in New York she recently redecorated for her.

A “well-placed source” chimes in to the New York Daily News that LiLo, whose career is currently on life support, has been investigating alternate management options for several weeks.

But it seems the ostensible leaf-turning the actress underwent in rehab doesn’t extend to abstaining from nepotism.

Dina, who has loudly denied her reputation as her doppelganger daughter’s enabler excuse generator party pal, is still very much a part of her life.

“Dina remains Lindsay’s manager and, more importantly, her mother,” the actress’ rep assures (or not — your call) TMZ.com.

Coincidentally (or not), the rumors of Dina being kicked to the curb coincided with Lindsay reunion with her long-estranged pop, who insists he has no interest in his daughter’s career (this, despite the fact that he’s never met an entertainment news show camera he doesn’t like).

“I don’t know anything about it at all,” he tells “Extra” of the mom-axing rumors. “I don’t get involved in Lindsay’s business dealings. I want to be there as her father and hope Dina can be there as her mother as well.”

Uma’s Stalker Scare

Uma Thurman is probably breathing a little easier right about now. The New York Post and TMZ.com report a guy who’s allegedly been stalking the ethereal actress for two years was picked up by the NYPD on Friday near her Manhattan home.

The criminal complaint accuses one Jack Jordan, 35, of sending Thurman threatening letters, constantly hovering around her house and trying to see her on a film set, among other worrying behavior.

“I feel afraid that if I see you out again with another man, I will want to kill myself,” a message left at her building last month reportedly read. “Maybe even after we meet.”

Uma, who recently denied reports she’s engaged to moneybags boyfriend Arpad Busson, is also said to have received a drawing showing Jordan walking on a razor’s edge while she’s pictured nearby digging a grave.

“He feels that he and Uma Thurman are fated to be together,” a police detective maintained in the complaint. “Since he came to New York, he has been sleeping in a car on her block among other places and has been trying to see her in person and continues to love her.”

Jordan’s concerned family reportedly convinced him to seek treatment at a mental health facility, but when he was released over the summer, he drove from California to New York and began staking out Thurman’s residence, repeatedly asking to see her.

When last we checked in with the elusive and possibly mythic entity known as Gyllenspoon, they were spied “deep, deep in conversation” at a party, having supposedly reunited, yet again, after their “harshest split yet.” On Wednesday, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal kept out of each other’s personal space at the Los Angeles premiere of “Rendition,” although their game of keep-away will likely do little to quell talk of their supposedly hot-and-cold coupling. The latest chatter comes courtesy of the Chicago Sun-Times, which claims the willowy Oscar winner, whose divorce from Ryan Phillippe was finalized this week, and the unfortunately be-whiskered actor have recently “enjoyed several quiet dinners” at her house (a location chosen to escape their capture on camera, natch). Gyllenhaal has also supposedly spent some “significant” time getting to know Witherspoon’s kids, Ava, 8, and Deacon, who turns 4 this month. The paper says dinner guests have included Jake’s sister, Maggie, and her baby daddy, Peter Sarsgaard, and there’s been talk of a family trip to Hawaii over Thanksgiving. (Hey, you know what we’d give thanks for? A photo — even a blurry one — of Reese at least making eye contact with Jake’s dreamy baby blues.)

Despite achieving fame, fortune and an NBA-playing husband in the form of Tony Parker, Eva Longoria wants us to know she really is just like us. Too bad she apparently thinks we’re ’50s housewives. “I’m very domestic,” the “Desperate Housewives” star tells the London Daily Mirror. “I clean, I sew, I do Tony’s laundry.” That’s not all. She’s also “a great chef” who cooks “every day” and makes “an amazing tortilla soup.” Alas, “Tony doesn’t like Mexican food,” admits Eva. What’s a domestic goddess to do? Why, whip up a “lemon pasta with pork chops and mushrooms” that’s now his “favorite thing,” of course. Longoria also shares her procreation plans with the paper, joking (we think) that “Desperate” creator Marc Cherry “has forbidden me to get pregnant this year” (Marcia Cross‘ twin-bulging belly forced script revisions last season). After a quarter century of living, Britney Spears has yet to master a concept so basic that even tots Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, likely understand it: Actions have consequences. This week, the calamitously misguided mess repeatedly demonstrated her inability to link cause and effect, such as how oversleeping makes you miss things, or how going commando can give paparazzi a disturbingly clear view of your private parts. Here’s the latest:

Snooze Control: Brit’s beleaguered lawyers were in Los Angeles Superior Court bright and early Thursday morning for an “emergency” custody hearing with Kevin Federline’s legal pit bulls, arguing that it was “developmentally and psychologically” important for her sons to have overnight visits with her. (The judge, however, again expressed concern over her alleged “substance issues and emotional issues.”) So, where was Spears while this important meeting was taking place? Turns out she may have been snoozing. While her lawyer blamed the media frenzy outside the courthouse for her no-show, photo agency-cum-Britney defender X17.com claims she overslept after taking a prescription medication for a bout of “severe insomnia.” Of course, she might slumber a little better if she cut down on the caffeine-crammed Frappuccinos and cans of Red Bull she likes so much. Another thing that might help: if she went to bed at a reasonable hour. According to Us Weekly, she was seen driving around until 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

Better Late Than Never?: Justice may be blind, but is it also starstruck and a little bit of an enabler? Five hours after the scheduled custody hearing, Britney, sporting jeans and sunglasses (she reportedly has pink eye, just like Federline) and carrying a Coke, descended on the courthouse, where 15 sheriffs’ deputies were on hand to escort her to the courtroom (via TMZ). About 45 minutes later, she exited, having been granted one monitored overnight visit a week with her sons. And what did she do to show her appreciation for this rare vote of confidence? If you answered, “Attended a court-ordered parenting class” or, “Sipped hot cocoa at home while watching the WE channel,” you don’t know Spears. Instead, she made a beeline for Neiman Marcus, where she shopped and had her matted coif styled, according to X17.

Home Is Where the Paparazzi Aren’t: No matter where Brit-Brit goes, her personal paparazzi contingent is always right there — and often seem to anticipate her arrival. So it seems strange they would have prevented her from making it to the hearing Thursday morning, especially because such qualms didn’t stop her from stepping out Wednesday afternoon to take care of pressing matters like chowing down on Mexican food and making a Target run. The purposeless popwreck’s cheesily delicious lunchtime excursion created the usual scene of chaos, as she waded through a throng of shutterbugs with her female companion du jour. What made this photo op a little different was her emotionless, monotone mantra of, “I’m scared,” which TMZ reports she repeated more than a dozen times on her way into the restaurant. Nonchalant fear wasn’t the only thing Brit was feeling. She also told OK!, “I’m shaky. I feel shaky.” Following lunch, she headed to Target, either to shop for her boys (per OK!) or look for a camera charger (per TMZ). Spears attempted to enter the reasonably priced retail outlet amid a crush of cameras while a store security guard stood nearby with an expression that said, “No way do I get paid enough for this.” TMZ says Britney soon got fed up, muttered how she was “so over it” and later yelled at the paps, “What the [bleep] do you guys want?!” Still, when she left the store (empty-handed, it appears), she offered them a “Bye, y’all!” before driving off.

No Bra, No Panties, No Thank You: With the court closely monitoring Britney’s every move, you’d think she’d try to avoid the type of behavior that called her judgment into question in the first place. Nope. She still can’t be bothered to throw on foundation garments for her meaningless public outings. On Wednesday, she not only unbuttoned her red minidress low enough to give the illusion she was smuggling a couple of bald guys under it, but she once again traumatized the public at large by revealing her bikini wax preferences while climbing out of the highly unsanitary (we’re assuming) driver’s seat of her Mercedes. (On the plus side, at least we know there’s some personal grooming going on. Now if only her disaster zone of a hairdo would receive the same kind of attention).

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are officially single.

The couple’s divorce was finalized Oct. 5, according to court documents.

Witherspoon cited irreconcilable differences when she filed for divorce on Nov. 8, 2006. The couple were married for seven years and have two children, 8-year-old daughter Ava and 3-year-old son Deacon.

Witherspoon, 31, and Phillippe, 33, co-starred in the 1999 movie “Cruel Intentions” and were married that year. Their separation was announced last October.

Witherspoon won the best-actress Academy Award for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in 2005’s “Walk the Line.” She can next be seen in “Rendition,” co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal, which is due out later this month.

Phillippe’s screen credits include “Crash,” “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Breach.”

Court documents confirming the divorce were first posted by the celebrity Web site CelebTV.com.

Michael Jackson works with Kanye West

Michael Jackson is working with hip-hop star Kanye West on his comeback album.

The rapper-and-producer jumped at the chance to collaborate with Michael, 49, on his much-anticipated LP, his first studio release since 2001’s “Invincible.

“Kanye revealed: “I’m working on stuff for Michael Jackson.”

“If I like a person’s outlet or what a person brings to the table, then I’ll
speak to them.”

Yesterday (10.10.07), Michael – who has seen his career free fall since his 2005 child molestation trial, of which he was subsequently cleared of all charges – thanked fans for their support and hinted he would soon be announcing his comeback.

He said: “I’ve been really busy lately. Soon I will be sharing exciting and surprising news with you.”"Your continued love and support means so much to me.”"I really love and appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart.

“Kanye, 30, is not the only collaborator Michael is working with on his album.Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and singer/songwriter Ne-Yo are also working with the eccentric star to create a newer edgy and up-tempo LP.

will.i.am confessed he put the phone down on Michael when he first called him, because he thought it was a hoax.

He said: “I was like, ‘Come on, who is this, how did you get me number? Stop playing around.’ He said, ‘No it’s really me, it’s Michael.’”

“I still didn’t believe it was him and was like, ‘Dude, seriously, I got to go.’”The album is due to be released early next year.

Amy Winehouse’s marriage is reportedly ”hanging by a thread” after she watched her husband leave a party with another woman.

The “Rehab” singer “went ballistic” when she saw Blake Fielder-Civil chatting intimately with supermodel Lily Cole, at the bash at London department store Harvey Nichols.
Blake then left with Lily, leaving Amy alone at the party for three hours before he returned to continue the argument.

A source said: “Blake and Lily were chatting very intently for ages before Amy arrived.”

“Amy went ballistic when she saw them together and dragged Blake to the toilet
to confront him.”

“They were arguing for at least 20 minutes. Amy was shouting at him and asking
him what an earth he was doing with Lily.”

“Blake tried to explain but Amy was having none of it. People waiting to use the
toilets were just standing their open mouthed. Their marriage is hanging by a
thread.”

The tempestuous couple eventually sorted out their differences, but Amy is said to be fuming about the attention Lily gave Blake.

An insider told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “They managed to paper over the cracks enough to leave together but Amy was seething. There is no love lost between her and Lily.”

The dinner party was held to launch Hollywood twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s new fashion label The Row.

The troubled pair have had a series of public bust-ups since marrying in Miami last May, the most severe saw both Amy and Blake embroiled in a blood-soaked argument in a busy London street in August.

Bobby brown hospitalized

Bobby Brown was reportedly hospitalized after suffering a mild heart attack on Tuesday (Oct 9, 2007).

The 38-year-old singer was rushed to Los Angeles’ Tarzana Regional Medical Center by his manager-and-girlfriend Alicia Etheridge after complaining of severe chest pains.
Brown’s attorney Phaedra Parks said yesterday (Oct 10, 2007): “This morning they did diagnose him as suffering from a mild heart attack. They attributed it to stress and diet.”
Brown – who was staying with his father when he fell ill – was released from hospital on Wednesday morning in good condition.

Parks added:

“He is in great spirits, he’s doing very well. He’s speaking with family
members.”
Bizarrely, Brown – who is currently seeking custody of his teenage
daughter with ex-wife Whitney
Houston – has denied he suffered a heart attack, insisting he went to the
hospital for a check-up and is “fine.”

He said:

“None of it is true. I went in for a check-up, to just get everything tested out
so that I could go on this tour, and everything is fine. The doc gave me a clean
bill of health.”

Brown is scheduled to perform in Los Angeles on Saturday (Oct 13, 2007).
